The Elective for the Third Annual Global Bioexecutive Program, Managing Scientists and Technical Staff, will be held on March 17, 2006 at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. The module will address such topics as what scientists learned in graduate school, what scientists need to know to succeed in business, transforming single contributors into team players, overcoming impediments to productivity in research and development, negotiating skills for scientists, conflict resolution, dealing with difficult people and situations, and developing effective professional development programs for technical staff.
