The event Idea to IPO…and Beyond will take place on January 3, 2007 at UCSF Mission Bay, in San Diego. Idea to IPO…and Beyond (Biochem 241) teaches UCSF scientists and clinicians how to build commercial value from their research discoveries. The course explores the “nuts and bolts” of building a successful business through lectures by industry leaders, in-depth practicuums, and a team project to write a business plan.
