Women’s Technology Cluster will be hosting the First Annual WTC Angel Investor Colloquium on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 in San Francisco, CA. The program is designed to help individuals, particularly women, to gain the financial literacy required to become an angel equity investor.

The Innovation Accelator @ UCSF will host the Global Life Science Innovation Competition on April 21, 2006. Up to 25 teams will compete for cash awards, and dine with judges and sponsors, including venture capitalists actively engaged in financing early stage life science companies.

The event will recognize the women who are leading venture-funded companies and the venture capital firms that are funding them.
