The event New Funding Opportunities for Small Businesses will take place on October 24, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla, in La Jolla, CA. NCI SBIR & STTR Director Michael Weingarten will discuss funding opportunities available to small businesses to support research and development in the areas of anti-cancer agents, biomarkers, nanotechnology, proteomics, pharmacodynamics, and many more areas of interest to the NCI. In addition, Dr. Piotr Grodzinski will present an overview of the NCI Alliance for Nanotechnology in Cancer.
