Bay Bio’s Gene Acres 2005 will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at the San Mateo Marriott, 1770 South Amphlett Blvd., San Mateo, California 94402, and will address facilities and operations issues facing life sciences companies. Speakers will include 19th District California State Assembly Member Gene Mullin, who chairs the California Assembly Select Committee on Biotechnology; Dr. Michael Friedman, the President and Chief Executive Officer for the City of Hope; and G. Steven Burrill, the Chief Executive Officer of Burrill & Company.
